Oh I see how it works. You know how yoga is supposed to be good for the posture? Something we did in class today -- either the abs thing or bridge pose, though it could've been cobra pose, too -- made my back really sore. It hurts to slouch or stoop forward or bend backwards. The only way it doesn't hurt is if I keep it straight, with shoulders back. So I guess that's how my posture will be improved. Sort of like electroshock therapy, or that one kind of conditioning they teach you in Psychology 101: induce pain until you get your desired result. No pain, no gain.
