The good: the weather. The quality of the runs. The amount of people present. My carving skills. Woot!
The bad: I guess I've gotten good enough to avoid clumsy falls, but not so much the bad ones. Speeding down steeper slopes resulted in me flying up in the air and falling hard on my ass or knees and tumbling down 20 feet. I've never had so many strangers go up to me and ask if I was okay, or even just laugh openly to my face. Bastards!
Next time, dammit, next time.
Meanwhile, I will be off nursing my aching body parts.
P.S. Just took a shower and surveyed the damage: I am possessor of the ugliest, biggest, purplest, most painful butt bruise in the history of butt bruises. I hope this doesn't interfere too much with my jebbing. Now that would suck!
