Everytime I type in a password tonight, I keep putting in my password for tessitura. I've been working too much. Yay for vacation!

My 15-year-old cousin, Carol, has a really cool myspace page. It's very pretty and fancy. When I saw it I was all, "Ooooh, cute!" On the top corner is a little something that says "Made by Liezl." Liezl is Carol's sister. She? Is 11 years old. So then I was all, "dayyyyyum!"

So, Liezl's creative, the rest of my cousins are musically gifted, my younger siblings are sporty, Ate Karen could've been all these things if she wasn't a quitter (Sorry, Kar, but it's true. Remember piano and swimming?).

Why oh why do I have to be the loser of the Macabuhay family? No offense, mother, but the Albarracin blood is totally screwing me up.

I hate when telemarketers call and they don't even attempt to say your name correctly. What idiot would think that "Nenita Macabuhay" is pronounced "Nenaynay Macabay." Not even close! And they expect you to be nice to them. Hah!

Good times, good times! NewsRadio season 4 DVD set out in 6 days.

Road trip in 9 days! Woot!

There's a Route 66 state park in St. Louis. I was looking into hiking and biking there, and they warn you to be prepared with insect repellent. Apparently, they have ticks and chiggers. I don't even know what a chigger is. Damn, I completely forgot about the possibility of things in middle America I might be allergic to or might harm me or i might not want to get in contact with. We definitely have to bring a first aid kit.

So, I bought my tickets for Les Miz through Goldstar, right? I was told I'd get my tickets in the mail but I never did, so I e-mailed them back and they e-mailed me back saying my lost ticket voucher will be in will call and that I should notify the theater ahead of time. I call the Pantages.
Me: blah blah bl...
Pantages dude: (rudely)
GOLDSTAR IS A THIRD-PERSON PARTY AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM, CONTACT THEM.
Me:
I already e-mailed them...
Pantages pig: (rudely)
WELL THERE YOU YOU, WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS.
Me:
And they told me my tickets will be at will...
Pantages son of a bitch: (rudely)
MA'AM WE DO NOT DEAL WITH GOLDSTAR SO IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE QUESTIONS, CALL THEM!
Me: (just as rudely)
I ALREADY EMAILED THEM AND THEY TOLD ME TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW AHEAD OF TIME THAT I HAVE LOST TICKETS!
Pantages asshole: (rudely)
GOLDSTAR HANDLES ALL THEIR TICKETS!
Me: (just as rudely)
UH, I ALREADY KNOW THAT! I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW OF MY LOST TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME LIKE GOLDSTAR TOLD ME WHEN I EMAILED THEM!!!
Pantages fuckwit: (calmly now)
Well then please bring a photo ID...
Me: THANK YOU! (click)

Ugh, I hate Pantages. What the hell is wrong with this guy? Makes you appreciate our customer service. Even my worst service to patrons is leagues better than this stupid fucker's. Bitch. I'm sending an e-mail.

On a different note, Alex left his games in my car last night! Yes yes yes! That's two days of fun for me. I don't work til Friday. Haha! (Just kidding, Alex.)

Also, kudos to the Stayfree people for coming out with the new Stayfree Maxi Overnights with Night-Guard Zone, specially designed to help protect from leaks. It's extra long, with an extra wide butt area. Perfect for sleeping on your back. It works, people, it works! Now I really won't have to do the laundry until next week. Now if they can only make it thinner...

The thing about Sims 2's real time-ness is that you actually have to play it during the day so that places are open and people are awake to interact with you. The thing about having a job is that you can't actually do this. Boo!

I want Tetris and Mario Kart and Meteos and Trauma Center and Super Mario and dude they should totally have an organizer feature so I don't have to carry my planner and wouldn't it be cool if you play Harry Potter in there and you can actually use the stylus as a wand?

When I'm frustrated (or bored or uncomfortable or whatnot), I have a tendency to bite the insides of my cheeks. The more frustrated I am, the harder I bite. Because of Guitar Hero, I'm bleeding now. Thanks a lot, Crossroads as made famous by Cream!

So while in the process of switching to a bigger purse to make room for my new Nintendo DS Lite (!), I saw a receipt from Mc(Maaaac)Donalds from today. I bought $15 worth of of lunch, and I didn't anything back from it.

You guys owe me money!

Interesting how things turn out. My day of loafing around became a sleepless night, and I didn't even have a paper to write.

Camisha invited me to go to Dave n' Busters. I thought it was going to be just our group, but some other strangers/friends' friends and high school people were there. Played some games, drank some drinks. And Annisa was there! Annisa who I had French and honors classes with all throughout high school and was very good friends with and whom I haven't seen since first year of college. Annisa!!! We had a very squealy and huggy reunion, rather short-lived though because she had to leave. We exchanged phone numbers quickly and she left and Camisha and I rushed to the bar because they announced the last call for drinks.

I got home at two, got ready for bed, then went online to see if I can salvage some of my iPod songs, at least. At three, my dad opened the door to my room. I braced myself for another lecture on my bad sleeping habits, but instead, he said he was going to the hospital. He had a massive headache and high blood pressure the night before, and now it's back. He was worried he was showing signs of stroke. I said I'd drive.

During the drive, my dad and I talked a bit about the road trip, mostly about the car situation. He said to use the corolla instead, since it's mine anyway and it has some insurance thing where if it breaks down, the insurance company will give me a replacement. And if we do end up using it, I should get the tires replaced first. (So Sandy, tell your parents already!) He was pretty open to the idea of me going on the trip, actually. I've heard him talk to my mom about them exploring the country first before going off to visit others.

Anyway, it's so much more difficult to trust doctors if you can't actually see what they're doing. At least in ER, you see them talk to the patients, prescribe medicine and order tests, and do all those other things doctors have to do, so you know they're actually doing something. In real life, they talk to you and leave for hours. I was in the waiting room for over two hours. In ER, patients with minor health problems always crash after they get seen by a doctor. Worst case scenarios run through my head. What? I had no idea what was going on behind the waiting room doors, and I watch too much ER, obviously.

I got up to look for a vending machine. The receptionist got a clue, and finally let me in to see my dad. He was on a gurney in this little exam room waiting for results of his CT. They had pumped him with meds to help with the headache so he was groggy. While I was looking around the room, I saw they had a cabinet labeled "Eye Drill Bits." Ewwww! Please oh please, never let me be in a situation where they have to use those on me! The doctor came in after what felt like several thousand minutes, and announced that the CT looks normal, but if the problem persists, he should get a spinal tap. In ER they only do spinal taps if it's really serious, and dude it hurts like a mofo! The doctor explained what goes on in a spinal tap: "They use a needle this big, inject it in your lower spine and drain spinal fluid. It hurts a lot, and hurts for days." Pretty much, he discouraged my dad from doing it. Maybe it wasn't really necessary? To me, it sounded like he was too lazy to do it. It's hard to trust someone when they use a falsely cheerful and I've-recited-this-speech-over-and-over-again-to-others-sounding voice, much like how we sound when talking about Wicked onsale, I guess. So his "you are healthy, go forth and be happy" spiel became, to me, evidence of his incompetence. And if something bad happens to my dad, I know whose ass I will beat up and leave for dead in a ditch in Santa Ana.

Don't you hate it when your parents tell you they're worried about being gone, because who will take care of your mom and your siblings? I may be lazy now, but dude, I'm responsible and of course I'd never let anything happen to my family! I hate when my dad talks about these things, because it makes me have to face the reality of what will eventually have to happen. It scares me.

Anyway, we got home at 6:45, went to sleep at 7.

Have you ever wished you were an only daughter? Or at least, one of two? Ugh.

Anyway. First day off in a while where I had absolutely nothing planned. Slept in, did some laundry, played Guitar Hero (I got stuck at a song again. Tommy and Christina, help!), shredded old bills, revised my list of things to bring to the road trip, uploaded iTunes, messed up my iPod, mulled over the kind of haircut I should get, pondered switching purses, picked up my mom, fought with my sister.

Is this what it's like to loaf around?

Damn you, A Heart Full of Black as made famous by Burning Brides! You're ruining my guitaring mojo!

My eyes are bloodshot and teary. But I'm playing the hards now, and I'm only a little bit shabby at it. If only I can pass this stupid song. I need an extra finger.

The only thing better than Hairspray that's...Guitar Hero!

Hah, obviously I finally made up my mind. No camera for me for this trip. I guess my phone will have to do. But Guitar Hero is so much fun! I've unlocked all that needs to be unlocked under easy mode, and I've only owned it for less than 2 hours. If this were DDR, I would've been sweating and heaving like crazy. Not to mention done playing. The only reason I'm blogging right now is coz my brother stole the guitar away from me.

Anyway. Other than this Guitar Hero high, I feel awful for being bitchy to someone. Damn.

P.S. Tommy, we love you too! <3

On her MySpace, under ethnicity, Kandy put Pacific Islander. How is it that even my own sister does not know her true heritage? Asian, foo'! I researched it. The official website of the Republic of the Philippines describes it as "the most westernized of ASIAN countries." The CIA World Factbook lists its location as "Southeastern Asia, archipelago between the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea, east of Vietnam." See! If anything, we could probably be considered Malay. But never in my years of studying history with Mrs. Vinoya and Ms. Pimpullo at St. Bridget was I ever taught that I was a Pacific Islander.

Anyway, I was curious so I decided to read up on the history of my hood, Antipolo. I realized I never really knew where exactly it was located relative to the rest of Rizal. I knew where it was compared to Manila, but not the rest of the region. So disappointing. And then, for some reason, the Hinulugang Taktak song came into my head, so I looked up pictures. Interesting. I found it hard to believe that the place still looked like
this, this, or this. I thought that place is a dump now? Hmmm. Maybe I'll go there someday. Antipolo also has a bunch of cool places to visit, like old churches and caves and parks. How come I've never been to any of them? I don't think Villa Christina and that other resort we always go to count as all that cool.

Anyway, I'm craving tapsilog.

No more Nintendo DS Lite for me because of car payments. Still debating on the camera (should I should I should I?). I want Guitar Hero! NewsRadio Season 4 DVD is a definite, though.

22 days!
